Your Mission
Second Guest of Web3 Builder - Omni (Albert)
Hi All!
This is the second interview from the Web3 Builder newsletter. Please don't hesitate to share this with your friends.
There was a gap between the first and current editions. From now on, the newsletter will be much more frequent. I'll try to bring in a new guest once or twice a week. The goal will be to meet as many people as possible from the Web3 space who are worth meeting.
I want to introduce our guest to this edition. This is Omnipotent (Albert). You can hear him as a host on Twitter Space. He’s running Web3 Wellness Wednesdays and The Forge: Community Blueprint. He is one of the most energized people in the Web3 space. He runs his spaces in the early hours of the morning, you can find him in the gym, working in a hospital, and spending time with his loved ones
I hope you find this interview very useful, as the idea of the newsletter is to put the advice my guests give into action. Let each of their recommendations be checked, tested, and put into practice to produce results.
Disclaimer: NFA: DYOR. This interview is for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial advice. It is important to thoroughly research and consult with a financial professional before making any investment decisions. Always conduct your own research and due diligence to make informed decisions.
Without further ado, Omni.👇
1/ Gm, Omnipotent_HF! Could you tell us a little bit about yourself, your background, and how you entered the Web3 industry? What was your experience with Web3?
In WEB3 my name is Omnipotent, but people call me Omni. IRL my name is Albert. I’m a resident physician and a certified personal trainer.
I entered the WEB3 scene in 2020 because one of my digital mentors, Tom Bilyeu, created an NFT project. This man’s content helped pull me out of a fixed mindset and so I wanted to see what this world was all about.
Currently, I have my own business Omnipotent Health and Fitness in which our mission is to end all preventable chronic diseases by creating fun experiences around health and fitness. A part of those experiences will be NFT and WEB3 based and a part of it will be WEB2 and IRL based. We’re taking a true hybrid approach!
2/ What are you currently working on? What do you hope to accomplish personally and professionally over the upcoming 12 months?
Currently, there are a few things I’m working on.
Personally, I want to make sure I continue to fill my personal buckets of being an excellent husband and father first and foremost while maintaining my own health and fitness.
Professionally, over the next year, we are hoping to launch our charity, Genesis NFT, as well as enroll 10 people who are either overweight, prediabetic, or diabetic, and over the span of a year help them reverse these health ailments.
3/ How do you choose your Twitter niche? What would you advise our readers to do if they have fewer than 1,000 followers?
To find a niche, you have to first have clarity about who you are and, ideally, have already identified a passion.
If you haven’t "found" your passion, this is what you can do (and what I did).
1. Get a sheet of paper and draw two lines to form 3 vertical columns.
2. On the top of the first column, write “Values.”
a. This is who you are, what you care about, what your core beliefs are.
b. Examples: Love, freedom, adventure, kindness, etc.
3. In the middle column, write “Interests”
a. These don’t have to be “passions” just what are you interested in?
b. Example: sports, history, non-fiction books, health, fitness whatever you want.
4. In the last column, write “How I can combine column 1 and column 2 to help people.”
a. This is the most important column. This is your value proposition. When you can combine what your values are, what your interests are, and how you can help other people, you will begin to DEVELOP a passion.
b. The passion will form with the acquisition of skills and the striving for mastery of these skills in the service of other people.
c. The more people you help, the more neurochemically rewarded you will be to continue your passion!
5. This is the way to find your passion, once you know your passion, you know your niche!
4/ What's the most important lesson you've learned since becoming a builder yourself that a new builder needs to know if we want to grow the Web3 community?
Always start with why and know what your mission is. When you know your why and your mission, then all you have to do is make sure your actions align with your mission. Using this strategy will help in all aspects of building, from who to hire to build a community. Every decision that you make, if you can clearly explain how it moves the mission forward, is likely the correct move.
5/ Which book has had the greatest impact on your life in the past year?
This is a very difficult question, as I’m reading ALL THE TIME. I also read books based on subject matters that I’m currently researching, which just isn’t indicative of the most impact.
I think the most impactful books I have read are, in no particular order: Start with Why, Can’t Hurt Me, and Mindset.
6/ Which of your previous investments produced the highest ROI (return on investment)? It could be anything—a course, a book, or a project.
Definitely finding digital mentors. You are the average of the 5 ideas you spend the most time with. Find people’s content with whom you vibe and consume that content voraciously. I found my digital mentors via podcasts. In no particular order: Impact Theory (Tom Bilyeu), Ed Mylett, Lewis Howes, Brene Brown, Vishen Lakhiani, and Seth Godin.
7/ You understand the importance of health better than anyone else in the Web3 space.
What advice would you give to our readers?
How can they keep their mental and physical health in check?
Also a very difficult question because everyone is in a different part of their life and the advice you get will depend on your current situation. In general, I have 5 core pillars of health optimize these 5 and it will optimize all aspects of your life.
1. Sleep
2. Exercise
3. Nutrition
4. Mental health (mindfulness falls in here)
5. Make meaningful connections.
8/ What do you do if you spend a lot of time on Twitter and start to feel overwhelmed or unfocused?
Figure out first why you are on Twitter. In everything you do, do it with intention. Usually, overwhelm and loss of focus are due to a lack of intention and a lack of a strong why. When you feel like you are starting to feel burned out, it’s important to unplug and take some "you" time. Whatever it may be to recharge, take a break and refocus on your why and your mission. Then come back with intentionality.
9/ Give me 1-3 excellent Web3 communities as examples. What do you think is essential for any good Community?
Good question. Again, it depends on your personality.
A good community for you may not be a good one for someone else. It depends on your values and core beliefs.
What is essential for a good community is that there is an idea that binds them very strongly. When everyone is working towards a common goal or mission, this is what makes the best communities!
10/ How do you see the Web3 space 10 years from now on?
It’s hard to predict past a few days in this space, but ideally, ownership of information, ownership of goods, decentralized transactions, and complete transparency have hit mass adoption.
Last:
If one of your tweets/threads could reach everyone, which tweet/thread would you choose?

Great tips from Omni (Albert). I'd like to thank him for answering the questions despite his extremely busy schedule. It was a pleasure to hear his advice and learn from his knowledge.
I hope you found this second edition valuable and that it met your expectations.
Also, please leave me feedback on Twitter. Which of the bullets above is your favorite? What do you want more or less of? Other suggestions? Please let me know. Simply send a tweet/DM to @N3tyan.
Wishing you a wonderful day.
Best wishes,
N3tyan
